In response to this development, we have established a specialized English Advisory Group, which provides legal services exclusively under English law.

This group operates across our offices in Prague and Bratislava and offers clients comprehensive advice under English law across a wide range of practice areas – particularly M&A, financing, corporate law, real estate, and dispute resolution. Clients can therefore structure and execute transactions under English law while benefiting from our deep understanding of the local environment and regulatory framework.

The establishment of the English Advisory Group is a natural step arising from BBH’s long-term regional strategy and from the needs of our clients, who are expanding their businesses beyond the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The partner responsible for this specialization is Petr Přecechtěl. The team also includes Kristýna Živanská, a senior attorney with unique expertise in legal advisory services under Czech law, the law of England and Wales, and the law of the U.S. state of New York.
